Extracurriculars
These are the Extracurricular activities that I have been engaged with.(Will add more detail when I next have the chance)
ECESS (Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society)
- VP Finance - Operating and maintaining a budget of more than $50,000 for all ECE student activities for 1000+ undergrads.
- VP Student Life – Led student engagement and events for the department.
- - Organised the first NASA International Space Apps Hackathon at UBC Vancouver with a turn out of 132 students.
- 2nd Year Rep – Representative all 2nd year ECE students to the department and student council.
EUS (Engineering Undergraduate Society)
- Webmaster and Discord + Communications manager - Updated and maintained the EUS website (ubcengineers.ca) and managed all domains and channels of communication.
- Facilities Director – Managed student spaces and technical support for events.
- Company Relations Manager – Liaised with industry partners for sponsorship and collaboration for the annual EUS Career fair.
- Representative – ESC tech, Tutor, Red sales, Eatery, Keeper of Cairn.
UBC Calisthenics Club
- Treasurer – Managed finances, tracked budgets, and supported event planning.
- Executive Member – Contributed to club decisions and organized group training sessions.
UBC Intramural Sports
- Tier 1 Basketball champion – Secured 1st place in UBC Engineering team at the highest competitive level of non-varsity basketball at UBC
- Team Captain – Led basketball, soccer, dodgeball and volleyball teams in ECE and EUS leagues.
- Sprint Triathlete – Competed in UBC Triathlon and Storm the wall where I qualified for further rounds.
